EventNest ("we", "our", "us") lets you create events, invite people to them, and share photos, videos, and messages with the people you invite. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who can see it.

• Account information: name, email or phone number, and password or sign-in token

• Profile information: profile photo (optional)

• Event data: event details, dates, guest lists, and invitations you send or receive

• Shared content: photos, videos, and chat messages you post inside an event

• Device data: device identifiers, push notification tokens, app version, and crash reports

• Usage data: how you interact with app features, used to fix bugs and improve the app

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the app — creating events, delivering invites, syncing shared media and chat in real time, sending notifications, providing support, and improving app performance and reliability.

4. How Your Information Is Shared

• With other members of an event: photos, videos, and chat messages you post to an event are visible to everyone in that event

• With our infrastructure providers: servers and storage used to run the app

• We do not sell your personal information to third parties

5. Data Storage and Retention

Your data is stored on our servers and protected using industry-standard encryption in transit. Event media and messages are retained while your account and event remain active. If you delete an event or your account, associated content is removed within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time from within the app. You can leave an event or delete content you posted. You may request a copy of your data or full account deletion by contacting us.

7. Permissions We Request

• Camera and photo library: to capture and upload photos or videos to an event

• Notifications: to alert you about invites, new media, and chat messages

• Contacts (optional): to help you find and invite people you know

8. Children's Privacy

EventNest is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
